The Vallejo Admirals announced July 17 that a group headed by Tito Fuentes Baseball Academy and Vallejo businessman Buck Kamphausen would be taking over ownership of the brand new team.
Tito Fuentes Baseball Academy is a nonprofit organization based in Napa and started in Arizona in 2006. Fuentes Jr. is the son of the former San Francisco Giants second baseman.
After resuming the season and sweeping a home series against the Santa Rosa Rose Buds, the Admirals took to the road for the first time under new management, and won two out of three against the San Rafael Pacifics, their cross-bay rivals and leaders of the Pacific Association.
Admirals Will Play Exhibition Game to Benefit Babe Ruth Baseball

This Sunday, July 21st at 2pm at Wilson Park, The Vallejo Admirals will play an exhibition game against the Vallejo Babe Ruth Senior Division team (16-18 year olds), and will donate all profits to the Babe Ruth Senior Team.
The Babe Ruth Team has made it to the regional playoffs in Utah, but they need $5,000 to be able to make the trip. The Admirals and The Tito Fuentes Baseball Academy are BIG supporters of youth baseball, and we want help the youth of Vallejo pursue their dream, while providing a great afternoon at the ballpark for fans.
Alma Fuentes of the Admirals emphasized the team’s commitment to helping youth baseball leagues, “Going forward we will support Vallejo’s Babe Ruth organization and all youth baseball organizations as much as we can”
For $20, fans get admission into the game and an Admirals T-shirt!!! The Admirals want to help the kids, and the Babe Ruth Senior Team wants the challenge of facing professionals to get ready for the next round of the playoffs.
“I want to prepare this team as much as possible for the challenging teams they will face,” Coach Larry Wright said, “And we want the Admirals to bring it. Even if we only score one run, it would be a great experience.”

Today, the Vallejo Admirals announced their official league schedule and ticket prices for 2013. The Admirals will play 41 home games at historic Wilson Park, with the home opener set for Saturday June 8th. Ticket prices for all 41 home games, including opening day, will be $5 for general admission and $8 for premium seating behind home plate.
The Admirals will open the season with inter-league play against the Arizona Freedom League on may 31st.
The Admirals are offering season ticket packages for all 41 home games at Wilson Park for $300. All season ticket holders will receive a special gift from the Admirals, as well as an invitation to an appreciation event and access to spring training games.
Spring training will be held at Wilson Park with players checking in May 19th. Spring training will last 10 days with final roster decisions announced on May 29th.
After wrapping up opening weekend against the East Bay Lumberjacks, the Admirals will take on their cross-bay rivals, the San Rafael Pacifics in a 6-game set.
Home games at Wilson Park will be played Tuesday through Sunday, with first pitches slated for 7:00PM under the lights, and 1:15PM for Sunday day games. “Mondays are a standard travel day for professional ball clubs. Visiting teams, whether they’re from Maui or Phoenix, will fly in on Mondays, stay here in Vallejo for the week, and then fly out after Sunday’s game” said Tyler Browne, Director of Operations.
